My name is Karen Posadas, owner of Kare & Passion. I enjoy exploring and capturing the beauty of nature. I started making handcrafted soap when I came across a video on YouTube about soap making. Like many other soapers, I started with the melt and pour soap making procedure, but did not take much of a liking for it. I started reading a lot about soap making to learn as much as I could. I researched and taught myself about essential oils and cold process soap making. I watched many videos and took online classes as well to refine my skills. As soon as I finished my first batch of cold process handmade soap, I got hooked!
I started giving them as gifts on holidays and soon after I began receiving orders for personal use as well as for events using my soaps as their party favors.
